Pre-operative Assessments
Patients awaiting surgery are advised to see their physiotherapist prior, to prepare and help their bodies reach their optimal condition to accelerate recovery post op.
Patients are seen prior to their surgery to:
- Discuss the role of physiotherapy postoperatively
- Practice exercises that are to be performed after the surgery
- Learn about equipment required after the operation
- Optimise strength and range of movement
